The second piece of kit is my signature: one of my two original polishes, a red, purple, and orange. My sister uses a regular black of hers, and for every different color she comes across, she has different polishes that color in the same way, so I went to my store in my bedroom with two different color options – it's a must! But if it comes on top of a "normal" shade, make sure to match it by using colors on each hand.
To get the nail size I wanted, I first bought an orange and black, took a handful of scissors to trim the blue, then carefully chipped a few blue nail pieces, and cut out what I wanted to match. Once everything had been cut to size, I cut my nail pieces out, lined up my colors, applied my polish…and left! While it took a lot of thinking and a lot of handwork to get the nail size right, I managed to get the base size in order.
After you get your pieces, you can apply a finishing layer to the base for a nice coat, or coat it with another coat of blue and the nail colors to make it look extra good!
Once you've got the nail colors, you can apply a white primer, then coat the rest of the coats to make them look as good as possible.
