The company is set to make the new nail designs from the top down. The designs were originally going to be made from the top down, and will also be made on the floor.
The original design originally used a very narrow section of glass to make the shape of the nail. Now, to get the nail to fit onto the floor, those narrow sections have been replaced by a more narrow version that's just wider and narrower.
The nail will be manufactured from 12-inch tempered steel, it can be fitted to any of the existing nail designs. It's not expected to look the same on everyone, so it's likely to get a fair bit of attention, though it will still fit under any of the original design. It's also going to come with two standard "layers" - a thinner version of the larger-than-ever nail that's being made that's made up of two separate layers - and it won't be on sale yet.
The only official release yet for the final edition of the nail is its original description, including links to the previous page and photos.
We're told the new nail is going to be made in Japan's Kamagawa Prefecture in May.
